Drinking water and hydroxide sludges

Production of tap water from surface water is mostly based on chemically assisted clarification generating fluctuing amounts of sludge with changing properties.

Depending on year period and weather surface water can be clear, loaded with sediments or subject to algal bloom making sludge dewatering a challenge for many technologies.

High performances, and flexibility of use form Bucher HPS technology ensures optimum dewatering performances all over the year.
It doesn't matter if you have almost pure hydroxide sludge, high or low organic suspended solids loads and how often it changes, the Bucher HPS will always be able to achieve best possible performances.

The use of Bucher HPS can reduce up to 50% the sludge amount to evacuate compared to conventional technologies.
