Responsibilities

• Preparing cost estimates for tenders based on technological designs, technical drawings, or equipment specifications
• Verifying cost estimates after completion in comparison with the developed technology and actual production results
• Optimizing the cost estimation process
• Analytical support for business decisions; control and analysis of process costs, proposing solutions leading to cost optimization.
• Regular cooperation with other departments of the Company, including: sales, construction, technology, project management, production, and purchasing.
• Participation in the Company's development projects

Requirements

• Higher technical education
• Minimum two years of experience as a cost estimator/designer/technologist in the steel industry
• Knowledge of cost calculation principles
• Very good ability to read technical documentation
• Knowledge of welding, technology, and production processes
• Practical knowledge of AutoCad, MS Office and Autodesk software
• Communicative knowledge of English and/or German
• Knowledge of ERP systems
• Ability to independently analyze and solve technical issues and problems
• Commitment, meticulousness, accuracy
• Very good organization of own work, independence

Desirable

• Knowledge of industries: pressure and non-pressure vessels/tanks, industrial pipelines, steel structures, etc.
