DryCab300

The DryCab300 is a vacuum drying cabinet. It is designed for the drying and processing of different heat sensitive products in the food and pharmaceutical industry. By implementing a vacuum system the drying process can be carried out on low temperatures maintaining the maximum product quality of the dried products. The DryCab300 can be operated with a regular condensator or with an andditional zeodration unit, with whom a maximum quality of dried products and the best aroma retention can be achieved.

The Bucher Zeodration system uses Zeolite reactors to trap the water or solvent. The properties of the Zeolite combined with polarity factors lead to a selective moisture trap which under operating pressure conditions retains water only. Because of a very low partial pressure at the water adsorption a maximum reduction of lost volatile molecules through the vacuum system is achieved. Thus maintaining most of the flavours in the product.

Evaporation rate: 1 - 2 kg/h.

DryBand1050

The vacuum belt dryer (VBD) is designed for the drying and processing of different heat sensitive products in the food and pharmaceutical industry.

The Bucher DryBand is also successfully used for freeze drying applications. The VBD is especially suitable for liquid products passing a glutinous and/or high viscous phase during the drying process and for products sensitive to mechanical stress. Liquid products are uniformly distributed on the lowest belt with a swivel feeder. Free flowing powders, granules and products of larger sizes are conveyed into a hopper on top of the vacuum belt dryer. By interval the product is fed into an intermediate chamber under vacuum from where the product will be loaded onto the top belt by a special dosing system.

Solid products are transported back and forward through the dryer from the top to the bottom belt in order to extend the residence time.

Evaporation rate: 0.5 - 5.0 kg/h

ZeoLab

The ZeoLab is a vacuum cabinet Bucher DryCab. It is designed for the drying and processing of different heat sensitive products in the food and pharmaceutical industry. The Bucher DryCab is also successfully used for freeze drying applications. DryBand mini

The belt dryer Bucher Merk DryBand mini is designed for the continuous drying of liquid and pasty and other heat sensitive products under vacuum for basic tests. The cylindrical part is made from glass for perfect view of the drying behaviour. 

The drying area of 0.1 m² on one band is perfectly suitable for feasibility analysis.
